We require each of our inspectors to obtain a Georgia State police background check and to pass the National Home Inspector Exam.

A licensed Home Inspector in Georgia for over 14 years, Joe Kelley is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), our local chapter of Georgia ASHI and International Code Council (ICC). He also holds certification with National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). Joe has pursued extensive additional education in subjects such as inspecting for wood destroying insects, radon testing, and mold and water intrusion.

As a licensed Home Inspector in Georgia for over 3 years, Tanner Hall is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) through our local chapter of Georgia ASHI. Additionally, he holds certification with the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). Tanner has pursued extensive additional training in skills such as inspecting for wood destroying insects, radon testing, and mold and water intrusion.

Todd Strader has been an InterNACHI certified home inspector since 2011. He also holds certification with the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). With advanced education in subjects such as inspecting for wood destroying insects, radon testing, and mold and water intrusion, Todd continually strives to learn from each inspection he conducts.
He has been a residential licensed Georgia General Contractor and has worked extensively in commercial and residential repair, remodeling and building. He has also owned and operated a commercial ornamental fabricating company. Todd says, “I treat every home inspection as though one of my family members is purchasing the property.”
Jeff Bates has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the Atlanta area housing industry. He has personally constructed over 1500 single-family dwellings within the state of Georgia. As a state-licensed real estate broker and general contractor, Jeff brings a lifetime of industry experience to every inspection he conducts.
Jeff is an ASHI Certified Home Inspector with advanced education in water intrusion and mold testing. Additionally, he is a Certified Inspector and member of the International Code Council (ICC) and is certified with the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). His aim is to apply his experience and knowledge to provide a realistic evaluation of your next home purchase.
Jake Williams is a state-licensed Home Inspector in Georgia. As a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and International Code Council (ICC), Jake has pursued extensive additional education in subjects such as Inspecting for Wood Destroying Insects, and Mold and Water Intrusion and other specialized home inspection topics.

Greg Dennis has been a licensed Home Inspector in Georgia for over 5 years, is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and is certified in Mold Assessment. Greg also has over 25 years experience in Home Remodeling, which allows him to better the understand the building process and customer satisfaction. He also completes 20 hours of Continuing Education every year to stay current with any new procedures in home inspection.
Greg’s personal Mission Statement is to have integrity in every inspection that he does while going the extra mile for his clients.
Riki is Avalon Home Inspections’ Office Manager. In addition to having an extensive background in management and sales, Riki has also been a licensed Realtor in Georgia for more than 10 years. She joined the Avalon team in 2015 and is dedicated to building long term business partnerships by providing each client with a level of service that far exceeds their expectations.
